ARTWORK AND IMPLEMENTATION

Eason Advertising was one of the first advertising agencies to electronically transfer advertisements and/or artwork in 1996. We constantly continue to improve our technological capabilities, without compromising our reputation for building and maintaining personal relationships.

It sounds simple. It trips off the tongue, “stick an ad in”. You just press a button don’t you?

Under ordinary circumstances, obtaining suitable artwork for the production of any marketing collateral is a relatively painless procedure - at least in theory. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case.

Every day we deal first-hand with the difficulties involved with artwork sent in various stages of completion, or incompletion. We solve them quietly and without fuss.

There are few issues we have not encountered.

The days of the 5-day turnaround are long gone. Nowadays, it is more likely to be 5 hours.

Here are a few principles we try and communicate:

A. Appreciate that a professional design program operated by a talented, trained and experienced graphic artist is capable of handling the complexities involved with rendering a professional image better than Microsoft Paint or PowerPoint (powerful and all as they are)!

B. Today's graphic design artists are computer alchemists working within a complex network of interwoven software programs. We have to manipulate large volumes of technical data very quickly and very precisely. Taking a scan out of a magazine, sticking it on a disk and thinking it is camera ready artwork is not going to work as well as you may think.
